My Current Skin Care Routine

Hey guys! I will share to you today my current skin care routine that I have been using for the past three months. I have always used different products in the past and I was never really particular about it until I found out from my friend about the horror and dangers of parabens and other different toxic chemicals in most of our beauty products today. For more information, watch this short video below.

Ignorance is a bliss, indeed. I never knew what was in the ingredients of the products that I used until I made time and researched them all. I will make a separate blog entry about which common ingredients to avoid next time. This information made me research the best organic products that I could use that is available here in the Philippines. Thank God for Human Nature, not only it is 100% organic, it is also animal cruelty safe and it is very affordable! When I found out about this, I instantly switched almost all of my products to Human Nature!

Before we go to my current skin care regimen, how you take care of your skin solely depends on your skin type. My skin type is Normal to Combination, I have medium pores, a smooth and even texture, good circulation, healthy color, may tend toward dryness on the cheeks while being oily in the t-zone.

STEP 1. Cleanse - I use Human Nature Balancing Facial Wash with Orange and Elemi, twice daily, morning and evening. I have been using this for three months now and it's the only product that has worked for me, though at the first week my skin underwent the normal withdrawal period from switching products and I had pimples. But came the second week it cleared out and my skin feels smooth as ever. I liked the minty smell of it and the little bamboo beads that comes with it that gently exfoliates my skin removing the dead skin cells as well. I bought this one for P84.75 available at any Shopwise Supermarkets or Human Nature dealers.

STEP 2. Tone - I use Human Nature Balancing Face Toner after cleansing with a cotton swab, twice daily, morning and evening as well. Do you really need to use a toner? Some swear by it, in my opinion it could be optional, sometimes I skip on it. Toners are important for removing all remaining traces of oil, makeup and dirt, but a good cleanser should do this. I firmly believe it's up to you. I bought this for P109.75 available at any Shopwise Supermarkets or Human Nature dealers.

STEP 3. Moisturize - I use Human Nature 100% Natural Moisturizing Day Fluid every morning after cleansing and toning; and Human Nature 100% Natural Moisturizing Night Cream every evening. I love their moisturizers a lot because it is just light and not greasy at all! I like waking up in the morning having my skin feeling fresh and supple! Bought these for P149.75 each.

All of us should become conscious consumers from now on. Make sure that what you're putting into our skin is safe and non-toxic. All of us are beautiful in our own ways and we could take care of our skin without putting ourselves into any harm, right? Thank you for reading my blog, feel free to comment or ask me any questions.
